Hey what's up!
Today I want to share something that happened at a "free" ecommerce event.
Walked into what I thought was dropshipping training.
Turned out to be MLM 2.0 in disguise.
But here's the crazy part.
Their approach was brilliant.
They used what psychologists call the "foot-in-the-door" technique.
Start with tiny commitment.
Build to bigger ones.
Free event → Constantly saying YES to their presentation → $700 offer.
Each step felt logical.
Amazon does this exact thing.
Free shipping trial → Prime membership → Buy everything there.
Your email sequences should work the same way.
Don't pitch your $5,000 coaching program in email #1.
Start with something small.
Free PDF → $27 course → High-ticket offer.
Each email builds trust and commitment.
Here's what you should do today:
Map out your customer journey in 3 steps.
What's your free foot-in-the-door offer?
What's your small paid commitment?
What's your main product?
Even MLM guys understand this psychology.
You should too.
That's it for today.
See you again tomorrow,
Geb Vence
